Cur-OST is an all natural anti-inflammatory supplement created and formulated by Nouvelle Veterinary, Inc.   The product line was initially designed after a research study conducted by Dr. Tom Schell of Timbercreek Veterinary Hospital in 2006, evaluating the impact of the herb Curcumin on inflammatory markers in horses afflicted with arthritis. Curcumin has been heavily researched for the past several decades in human medicine for helping to reduce inflammation and pain associated with many conditions such as arthritis and even cancer.  The research trial conclusions by Dr. Schell were that curcumin did help to reduce the inflammatory markers, reduced pain, improved range of joint motion and quality of life for horses in the trial.  It was at this time that Cur-OST was created and further testing was conducted in a research setting. 

 

Cur-OST combines the anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin with other similiar herbs such as green tea and boswellia, helping to create a synergistic type of relationship with the additive nutrient properties of other herbs including spirulina, flax seed, alfalfa, mushroom derived beta-glucans and single nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E and Co-Enzyme Q10.
